Punjab delights in Montreal

Great food ! Best Indian food in town ! Service was impeccable , the woman at the service counter was so nice , professional and was so nice to my kids. This girl smiled and made our journey at the restaurant an excellent one. My kids enjoyed their thalis while my wife and myself enjoyed ours too ! Great food and Great service ! It is a restaurant that every family should visit ! They know how to treat their clients and deliver beautiful tasting food! YUM!

Eat here if you wanna feel good ! Lovely thalis ! Most of all best service ! Service by this wonderful girl at the counter was impeccable and professional. I have not seen such a passionate worker. She is a Gem ! Overall great restaurant and really honest family business. I recommend anyone and everyone to eat here !

It is probably the best restaurant in South Montreal. The food is great, delicious, plus portions and generously sized. We have found amazing selection of vegetarian meals. The best part is there guys follow high standards, use only appropriate ingredients, and of course no meat or fish, everything is clean.Most of recepies are well-known in Indian cuisine. However, Punjab Delight adds their own unique twist to any meal, that makes them especially delicious. I am highly recommending this restaurant.

I usually dont write reviews about restaurants but this restaurant was so good that i just HAD to ! Honestly the food was so good and highlighted with various flavors ! So much greatest in one small restaurant called punjab delight ! I recommend their channa bhaturas and thalis ! Dont miss out on such a great restaurant ! To add service was A + !

Best Indian restaurant! I been going there as a kid and it’s also the place where I was first introduce to Indian cuisine. I recommend this places to everyone. The staff is so caring and sweet too!

Amazing place to have a great meal ! Staff is super friendly and people seem happy and delighted with the service in the restaurant. I had the thali of the day and it really blew me away of how cheap it is because the taste was out this world ! Really suggest for everyone to try this restaurant, very good gem of a place. Delicious food ( had the thali of the day ) .It was my first time here this tuesday afternoon with a friend that eats here very often. Love the aspect that food and business is handle by a family that understands what real vegetarian indian food is ! The service is impeccable and they treat the clients with warmth and politeness. I will be back for more ! One word of advice, I noticed that this place has a older feel than it should a renovation would be great ! Plus, when comparing other indian restaurants I noticed that your food is alot cheaper than other restaurants. I am a analyst and noticed this as a great way to grow your business ! Hope you take this advice ! Overall great first time experience ! Do recommend !

I give it four star because of the quality/price ratio. Its pretty cheap, and the food is very tasty. Service is excellent (almost too much of it). Place is pretty low key, small and nothing to write home about.

Once of the best indian restaurants i've been to ! They have the greatest thalis and there dal soup and mango lassi presentation was A1 ! Very high quality food with a beautiful motherly touch ! Service is impeccable, the two sisters are very hardworking and professional. Restaurant ambience isn't the greatest but food is just so good ! We were in the neighborhood and decided to try because of good ratings. We were not disappointed. Delicious and inexpensive wholesome thali lunch for 3 with an appetizer and fresh warm Naan bread. Just like a home cooked meal which is always the best! Service was friendly and expedient. First time there but would highly recommend!

Keep returning time and time again to this family-run restaurant to enjoy delicious vegetarian and vegan food. The thalis are filling, a la carte menu is reach, and they have a big variety of fresh Indian deserts. The owners are friendly and welcoming. Absolutely love this place.

Great indian restaurant, Channa Bhatura was amazing .They were very busy during Diwali with a crazy lineup for sweets and the most amazing thing about this restaurant was that they still gave an amazing service and didn't let the clients feel like if they couldn't give the service due to the crazy rush, A1 service. Food reminded me a lot of food from back home. In addition , all the employees are very welcoming. I had the thali of the day and their new pani puri on Friday. All i could say is YUM YUM YUM ! The water balls leave a wonderful taste that you just want more and more ! Plus they are so light ! The food was amazing and had also an amazing service by Priya and her brother. This is a diamond family restaurant. They only negative is the environment/vibe, its so old , color is dark and boring , would definitely say ugly from the outside ( vibe ) beautiful from the inside ( food ). Try them out , will say that food and service is A +. 5 stars only because this is the best indian restaurant in montreal despite the look of the restaurant!

I went last week to pick up samosas and they weren't as good as usual... in fact, totally different. I'd love to know if this is the new samosas or if they will go back to how they did them before because I'm not a fan of the new ones... I'm going to post a pic.

Vegetarian all made in house. Great selection and wonderful service. Spicy if you wish. Affordable and delicious. Desert are great also. One stop, eat in or take it out! Bon appetite!

Beautifully presented food especially the dal soup it is so elegant ! The person who though of the latter is a genius ! Love the pakoras and the samosas. To top it off the thalis were incredibly amazing. Service A+ ! I do recommend this restaurant as a go in grab your food and leave because the food is super delicious but the atmosphere of the restaurant is so boring. They need to make it more unique , modern and beautiful ! Despite the latter , I would give a 5 star because of the amazing food and service !

Homey vegetarian restaurant. Friendly service. The food was on the "greasy" side for me; and I like the curry to be more consistent, more "solid" (it was like a "purée"). The bread and the rice were good.

Went here last night for the first time and the food is tasty ! I ate the thali of the day ( they change everyday WOW) and a mango lassi which was delight like Punjab Delight .Staff is very friendly. The only comment I have is that they need to update the restaurant theme. Will definitely be back for more delicious food and great service.

Delicious platters, Amazing and caring staff. Thali of the day was delicious, in addition their samosas were to die for. Honestly a great find after suggested by my friend ! One thing i would say is that although the food is incredibly delightfully delicious , the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful but i would suggest slight upgrade or renovation. All in all great experience !

This place is a gem! A DIAMOND found in Lasalle ! Food was amazing, it was freshly cooked, very fast service and the food made me remember of my trip back in India ! If you want food that tastes as good as back in India ... YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT! Yes it is Vegetarian but trust me after eating here you will forget any meat dishes ! Enough talking about the great food, the girl at the counter is so friendly , so caring and will make you feel at home ! She serves tables while handling the cash while making sure food is getting prepared , while she cleans. SHE is a one WOMAN SHOW ! Very clean restaurant but needs a bit of new and modern renovations. Again, food , service and vibe is A1! Punjab Delight brings India back to Canada !

Tried first time to take out, the most pathetic portion I ever seen in all Indian restaurants in all Montreal, The lady at the counter was rude as hell. This was the first and last time and I'll not recommend to anyone.

Best Indian anywhere. The food is really yummy and the sweets are even better. They have the best nann. Take out has 3 sizes and their din in options are wonderful most dishes are 6 or 8$. It’s vegetarian but if you like meat this place has such great food you forget about meat.

Food is good and services is fast. Food is not over spicy. Prices are affordable.
